BG rocks NIU in Game 1!

Falcons hit a FG and long TD pass to beat NIU, 10-0, in softball today.

Game 2, no score as the Falcons head to the bottom of the 2nd to bat.

BG is 29-9, 12-5 MAC.

Falcon rally for 2 runs in the bottom of the 7th to win, 3-2. With two outs, Jeanine Baca smashed a 2 run HR over the center field wall!!! YEAH BABY!!

BG will now host WMU in single games tomorrow and Sunday.

Falcons now 30-9, 13-5 MAC. GO BEEG!!

Those games were AWESOME! Who woulda thought we would win both games of a double header with walk-offs? The walk-off Grand Slam in the first was just beautiful.

Also, my photos are (hopefully) going to be featured on the BGSUFalcons game recap page, so that's cool.

Saw your photos on the official site....excellent work my man! Get some more great shots vs WMU. I see you work at WFAL. I worked there for a few years as well. Had a blast in West Hall. Too bad Chump Channel had to ruin the radio industry.

Wow, I'm probably a lot more excited than I should reasonably be about this, but it's so cool to see my photos/name on the official site.

Yeah, I work at WFAL. It's been sort of hit-and-miss the last two years because of an absentee GM a couple years ago, but things are really starting to take off again. Always cool to hear from other WFALers. Met one of the original DJs from the dorm room/south hall days at the game today.

I already despise ClearChannel, and the more I hear from people who have worked in radio, the more I'm learning how crappy they truly are. Sorry they ruined it as well.

I'm sorry too. I was enjoying a 10 year radio career until CC bought the station, where I was working, in 1999....CD 106, The Wolf. Great rocker in Youngstown for many years. Now? It totally sucks. I was at WFAL from 1987-1990.

BTW, Kent State swept Ball State today and is now 14-2 MAC. BG cannot win the East. Last year Kent State won the East by a 1/2 game over BG. The Kent 2 game sweep back on 3/30 is the difference.
