A generous gift, good luck for this campaign.

Personally I wouldn't give 'em a penny for this, but hopefully other people are more open minded and will open up their wallets to fund the project.

I would love to donate to this and many other projects at the University but I don't believe they will accept the dust bunnies that live in my wallet. So I will just keep purchasing season tickets and attending games. I do plan on thanking the Wright's for their generous gift next time I see them though. They definatly bleed orange and brown.

When I first read the email and saw it was called the "Defending Our Turf" campaign, I thought they were trying to raise money to keep the grass field. I could just see hammb's eyes lighting up.

If I wasn't struggling to keep my car running and my fridge barely stocked I would definitely give to this.

Yeah, maybe that's what Hammb and I should do and they can rename this campaign to something like "Defend the rubber pellets and fake grass Campaign" ;-)

Another awesome gift to help continue to improve our facility!!! I love seeing some of the BG family step forward and contribute to these upgrades such as the Sebo Center and now the FieldTurf. I won't be able to match the Wright's gift, :) but I will do my small part.
GO BG!!!

Naw...this is amateur stuff! You want to see professional postings that turn positives into negatives....go visit the hockey board!!! It's enough to make you cry......seriously..... :smt010

Anyways....back to the topic: Thanks, Van and Tracey!! Fantastic people who are phenomenal BG fans!!!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

I'll do my part too and donate some $$$...Thank you Wright family. Your gift is an example of TRUE falcon fans who care about the growth of this program and facility..Unlike some others on this board who are stuck in the 70's..
