There once was a man from Toledo,
Who thought coaching football was neato.
If you think he's not thin,
With his 3 or 4 chins,
You should see how he looks in a Speedo.

I think these kinds of comments about Coach Amstuz are grossly inappropriate. I know the man personally and find him to be an extraordinary gentlemen, clearly an extraordinary coach who knows his Xs and Os as well as any coach, and incessantly gets the most out of his players. To demean the man because he has a weight problem (gads, don't you think he knows that), particularly in a public forum, like this web, puts you on a lower rung. GO BG!

Dr Bucko's right...kind of. Coach Amstutz is a target rich enviroment. We needn't focus on his weight.

If Scott Peterson were a starting LB, juror Tom Amstutz would have voted "not guilty".

I'm sure he is. I've heard that from other people, too.

But one thing you may not know about Coach Amstutz is that, when no one is looking, he sniffs his players cups.

Nah, he'd still vote guilty, because Peterson would be playing for Marshall.

Tom Amstutz is lost without his whistle.

EWWWWW!!
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."
