Not sure where he's at now but he first moved off to Boise to be with his fiancee whom had a higher paying job. The CBA at the time had its office in Boise and I think it's now in NY somewhere.Metz wrote:Didn't he head out west to Montana?Tricky_Falcon wrote: Former SID Kris Kamann had a job offer a few years ago to be the Football contact for Indiana football which he turned down.

JD Cambell.....
I'm sure JD is a great guy and helped a ton of people out again nothing personal , I just think the overall marketing of our programs has been somewhat lacking. Maybe I was wrong in assuming Communications dealt with the things I'm talking about but marketing is generally what I think of when I see AD/Communications as the title. Now i'm sure you will all correct me till kingdom come on whatever i'm supposedly wrong about , but know this, I'm sick to death of everyone taking posts out of context or insert what they think my posts imply about everything or someone I might post about. These are just my frank opinions , nothing more. You can disagree the heck out of them , I don't care. I'm getting more used to it anyway. I guess I shoulda inserted Scott Paluch's name instead, that would've just dandy then.

Hmmm... should I comment, or just pull up a chair and some popcorn for the show??

Communications...East side of the Doyt.
Marketing...West side of the Doyt.
Completely different departments. If you don't want us telling you how wrong your opinions (which by the way you make come across as factual information) are, maybe you should actually do some research before you make such statements.
What you "generally think of" when you hear something is going to be torn apart on here if your general thoughts are absurd. It's as simple as the old saying...think before you speak. Maybe then you'll start to make a little more sense!

falconbuoy... the thing you need to realize about BGSU is that generally speaking...people like each other here. Even the people on the football board that don't like Gregg Brandon as a football coach (BTW..they're insane) will have nothing but nice things to say about the man personally...just as eveyone pretty much liked Gary Blackney
So, when you belittle JD by saying his departure isn't a great loss when you haven't even taken the time to do the slightest bit of research about what his duties were or weren't, you're going to have to expect some blowback. In spite of what you think...or more accurately feel, he did a good job. He was very responsive to people, even dopes like me, when we had questions about the athletic department and he was (here's that key concept) well liked.
My suggestion to you would be to stop whining, admit your mistake and take the shots you so very much deserve. In the future, you might want to do a little homework before offering some ill informed knee jerk criticism.

I may have overreacted abit then. My apologies. Now knowing that JD had nothing to do with Marketing I misplaced my comments. Thank you for informing me. Now can we live in peace?
