According to the athletic directory, it looks like Coach Orr has hired a new Director of Basketball Operations.
He's Rick Palmer, who I can only assume is this fellow who played basketball at Albion College and coaches basketball and golf at Lakeland College:

I don't believe we've had this particular role for the basketball program in a while. The people who've handled the miscellaneous duties that make a program run over the years like Darren Kohne, Kyle Rase and Art Furman all had the title of "Administrative Assistant." I also wonder whether this is a year-round, full-time position. It's standard at the BCS level and a bunch of MAC schools now have them as well.
