Methinks this was supposed to be a bit of a joke...you know, hahaha, and such...but I've been wrong before. Not much, mind, but I have been wrong on a handful of occasions.

It is not my intention to do away with government. It is rather to make it work - work with us, not over us; stand by our side, not ride on our back. Government can and must provide opportunity, not smother it; foster productivity, not stifle it. ~Ronald Reagan
B.O. - you are correct my friend. HaHa it was. After that Michigan game - it was pretty much a "nail in the coffin" for the deal. Kinda like our Miami game (ouch).

Hey, don't we play Michigan this year?
I like that steak comes from cows. That is why a cow will not think twice about eating you.
The difference is that the BG athletic department didn't waste hundreds of thousands of dollars installing two different grass fields during the season before making the call on FieldTurf.
I'd really like to know how they can justify their tax-exempt status.
This is absolutely no surprise. They had the turf replaced 2 or three times last year, and I think it was new at the beginning of the season.
Crazy part is, their drainage system is far more advanced than the Doyt's. They must have gotten a lot more rain last fall down there. Of course, when you play the larger part of your season at home, it is more likely to get abused during a rainy day.
I think we all saw this coming. It was just a matter of when.

That didn't affect the drainage system at all. They started having problems because when they renovated the stadium they lowered the field level. Moving the field deeper underground is what had affected the grass the most.
The field level of Ohio Stadium is actually below the water level of the Olentangy river, I believe.
They have an incredibly hi tech draining system that pumps out water, and can also pump water into the grass if it needs water. Apparently that just wasn't enough with last year's weather.
You would think that one of the biggest agricultural schools in the country could grow some grass. I think because the field is lower it may not get enough direct sunlight in the fall to maintain its health. just my opinion.
I for one like the field turf and think it can look especially cool with our logos painted on it.
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!
