Christopher's Responses
Surprised that no one has mentioned the fact that the success of the women's b-ball team this year did NOT generate any revenue sharing via the NCAA. I, for one, assumed that BG would get a "cut" of the profits, ala the men's tournament....I know that the women's tournament does not draw nearly as well, but it doesn't seem right that the participating schools don't get to share in the profits, especially since schools like MSU, Tennessee etc. get to "host" the early rounds on their home floors.
Education our Challenge, Excellence our goal. (look it up)

The expenses from the women's NCAA basketball tournament still exceed the revenues. Although they inch a little closer to the break even point every year, there is no profit to share yet.Class of 61 wrote:Surprised that no one has mentioned the fact that the success of the women's b-ball team this year did NOT generate any revenue sharing via the NCAA.
