Ah, the time of year when teams (especially non-BCS ones) are judged almost exclusively on what they did last year!

(Of course, there are exceptions...Florida for example, who lost almost all of their defense, their QB, RB and a bunch of WR's, so being outside the Top 10 is probably approrpiate for them)

Timmy Tebow is a better talent than Chris Leak though, at least in the Urban Meyer offensive system he is!
4th & 13 on PU 32yd line.. 56,000 fans up on their feet screaming, i held my breath the entire play trying to make as little noise as possible.. wouldnt u know Sharon would make the biggest touchdown catch in the history of BG Football, FALCON UP!

So the MVP will be a running back who is not good enough to be the Offensive Player of the Year?

I think Tebow will be better than Leak in time, but I expect a dropoff in the early season for Florida. They'll be pretty good by the end of the year, I'd guess.

OSU isn't in their top 10 either, because they too lost their QB & top WRs, and RB.

Preseason rankings don't mean anything in the MAC. Win the MAC games and you'll go bowling. Don't win them, and you won't. Simple as that.

I think you're reading the word "offensive" wrong in that statement.

a couple things:
1. Florida shouldn't be in the top 10 because they lost 9-11 starters on defense. Also Tebow will be better in the spread system than Leak but is not as good of pure passer as Leak.

2. OSU should be considered lucky to even be ranked in the top 25 with all of the losses they have. I see them finishing 4th in the big 10 behind mich, wisky, and psu.

3. I think they played it safe with us this year since we are so inpredictable after they had us picked to win the east last year.

I think fl and OSU are going to suprise people who think they will not be as competitive as they were last year.

they played for the title last year...so, you're expecting them to play for the title again?

I think they might be a little gayer this year. Should be interesting to see.

My prediction is that OSU will lose the big ten title but will defeat Michigan, but the biggest news of all BGSU win the MAC East.

1st off Boise won the National title, since all it is, is an opinion title and not earned on any field via any kind of playoff.
I think Fl will shock many by winning the SEC again this year I just think people have no valë of Urban and that FL is a loaded team, the same with Ohio State, I just do not see how Ohio State can finish this year lower than 3 and most likely two.
