yep thats where I predicted them to be. I'm so proud that we're top 25 for the third straight year and it would be even better if we finished top 25 for the 2nd straight year, can't have any losses though.

Wow. I was sure that regardless of our win, Toledo would end up ranked ahead of us in the polls. We are once again, by far this time, the best team in Ohio!

Let's see how bad the sportswriters whore themselves to UT later this afternoon.

I'd like to prove that we're the best team when we play Toledo and possibly osu in the MCB.

Yeah I hope we get teh MOtor City bowl so I can go again this year. I had so much fun at it last year but this year I have to remember to buy my tickets through BG and NOT Ticketmaster! I got great seats (10 rows up on the 15 yard line) BUT ON THE WRONG SIDE OF THE FIELD haha. Thankfully we were next to and near a lot of falcon fans so it was ok. We should beat Toledo by 2-3 TD's, our defense is better and our offense is better and that will overcome the road atmosphere. I predict 52-35.

The 23rd is our big chance to reverse the trend of losing against good conference teams on the road. We have no problems at home. This is the team to finally get it done in Toledo for the first time since 1994. Go BG!

I honestly expected us to be higher than 24...that's only up two spots. Oh well, i'll take what we can get. Hell, we might fall out of the poll since we dont play this week. However, once we beat UT, it should be a sweet bowl bid coming.

I was predicting we'd take over NIU's spot at #23. Ah well, ranked is ranked!

Ohio State is not going to play in the Motor City Bowl.

If there is a FAQ, that ought to be in it.

Let me take a moment and count all of the Ohio State votes for those tOSU fans out there.......zero, zip, nil, zilch. That felt good. Plus, it is always nice to help those who can't count to zero.

Actually OSU or Purdue just punched their ticket for the Motor City Bowl!!!

Look at the BIG TEN standings...

Michigan 7-0
Wisconsin 6-1
Iowa 6-1
Northwestern 4-3
Michigan State 4-3
Purdue 3-4
Ohio State 3-4

I dont really see OSU beating Michigan next week either... so Purdue has the tie breaker over Ohio State in head to head should they "tie"

Also College Football News is predicting 4 MAC teams to go Bowling... that is incredible!!

CFN predicts a lot of stuff that isn't right though. I don't believe anything I see of theirs anymore.

Also, about the polls in general, I really hope USC loses a game. Oklahoma and Auburn in the National Championship game would be pretty cool.

The standings don't matter. Ohio State will not play in the Motor City Bowl.

These are CBS Sportline's picks:

Rose: Michigan
Citrus: Wisconsin
Outback: Iowa
Alamo: Michigan State
Sun: Purdue
Music City: Ohio State
Motor City: Northwestern

And, frankly, I think they have Ohio State too low. Are the Alamo and Sun really going to take Michigan State and/or Purdue over Ohio State if they they aren't forced to?

Incidentally, here are more Sportsline picks:

Emerald: Northern Illinois vs. Wyoming
Silicon Valley: Bowling Green vs. Fresno State
GMAC: Miami vs. Southern Mississippi
Motor City: Toledo vs. Northwestern

incidentally, Fresno State looked terrifying against Hawaii Friday night.
