Well, its a good time in a great town, and great stadium. I was up there for one of the playoff games last year, and you can see the pics here: http://www.ay-ziggy-zoomba.com/gallery/uploads?page=9
Would be good to see some more BG orange and brown up there.

Is there any speculation about any speculation that there's speculation that may change?BGFan wrote:Yeah, but the fact that we go there MUCH more often than they come here sucks. For some reason there seems to be a huge discrepency in the travel between the two teams.

Let's see, this will be UNO's 9th season in the CCHA. This will be the 7th time we have had to travel there (not counting tournament games) , while they've only been here 4 times. I'm not sure I see the logic in this pattern.
If somebody out there is REALLY bored, they ought to do a little research to see which team is on the other end of this equation. Since we play the same number of home and away conference games each season, it stands to reason that there's another team out there who is saying "holy crap, we have to go to BG again?"

When you finish 12th...
When you finish last in the league you basically have no pull in influencing the schedule.
One way I've found to get at schedules is to go to a team site on uscho, click on their schedule. There's a drop-down menu for past seasons. You can manipulate the address to change the season years to a future season, sometimes you can get next year's schedules.Freddie wrote:If somebody out there is REALLY bored, they ought to do a little research to see which team is on the other end of this equation.
It appears that the BG-UNO series is unique as far as we're concerned. BG played regular season games at UNO 3 straight years without UNO coming to BG. Since UNO has been in the CCHA, no team has had regular season games at BG more than 2 years in a row without a visit from BG.
We played at Omaha the year before they entered the league, and there were only 2 seasons that they had 2 regular season games with BG at BG.
All the other seasons, BG went to UNO only, or there were 4 games scheduled, 2 there, 2 here.
One of those seasons scheduled for BG only, 05-06, BG had a playoff game at UNO. 2001-2002 was the only season since 98-99 that BG hasn't traveled to Omaha.

Maybe thats why UNO fans think of BG as their hockey "rival" because we play there so muchbgbill wrote:It appears that the BG-UNO series is unique as far as we're concerned.
