I had read over on the jjhuddle board that we got a verbal from a Maribeth Giese from Cininnati Mercy HS. Des anyone have infromation on this young lady.

Just "googled" her....Cincy Mother of Mercy HS was 8-13 this past season...she's listed as a C/F (but no specifics or stats) #33 uniform...maybe someone else can find more info....it would be 1st kid in awhile NOT from a winning program, so I'm assuming she can PLAY.

Well from when i did a google serch on her didn't give me much stats but she is 6'2 and that was back when she was a FR in high school is when the name came up on the roster i had looked at. She may still be that same height or she might be a bit taller but still good size though. Sounds like with coach working with her she could become a very good player for us.

Cincy Mother of Mercy HS was 8-13 this past season

Checked the school's Basketball results and saw 9-13 and that 5 of the squad's losses were by a combined 20 points, with one by 1 and one by 2. They don't seem like a team that's terribly far from being, at the very least, decent.

As far as other info goes, she's listed as a 6' 2" junior and listed at C, no stats though.

'Mother of Mercy' High School...putting the religious origins aside, it sounds like something your grandmother would say after you left the house without a jacket on.

Googling also uncovered her status as the reigning co-Player of the Year in the Cincinnati Greater Catholic League.
