We can score 72 points in the first quarter with Phil Earley's new offense. Phil worked closer with Dennis Erickson who was a national champion with the real MIAMI.Falconfreak90 wrote:I'll see you in Athens! And I expect a big Falcon victory. Do you think we can score 72 points again this yr?![]()

Last time OU played BG... I believe it was 35-7 after the first quarter. The running backs combined for 300+ yards of rushing and the qbs combined for 330 for passing.
Its very amusing that after not throwing a football for 10 plus seasons that OU just thinks that they are going to walk in and throw the ball all over the place. Well they can do that... but who is going to catch the pigskin?

Is the rumor about the Bobcats' new red and black uniforms true, too?Hail Peden wrote:First Bobcat Reich: Don Peden 1924-46 overall record; 122-46

THE THIRD REICH IS COMMING......THE THIRD REICH IS COMMING....
This thread is in terrible taste.
Doyt Perry was a better coach than Peden or Hess, anyway.

Come on dude, I go to OU and even I know they won't beat BG! Even if the Bobcats' offense is improved, the defense is so bad it won't matter. Omar and Co. run a muck here!
Early Prediction: 52-17 BG
btw... Bill Hess's 107-92 gives him a .537 winning percentage. For comparison's sake. Doyt Perry had .855, Don Nehlen .598, Gary Blackney .545, and Gregg Brandon .786
. BGSU has had only three coaches in history with worse winning percentages than Hess. Finally I predict the Detroit Tigers will finish with a higher winning percentage than yes, yes that's right, the Tigers. Still a Reich? Come back down to earth you Bobcat, you're no Falcon!

Growing up in Athens and playing for the high school, the only thing anyone dreamed of was to play for Don Peden.", 1950 OU graduate. "He was the most respected man in town."
Would all of you please ignore this OU idiot (no offense rc_ziggy84). My guess is "Hail Peden" is the same guy that goes by "Kit Kat" over on BobcatAttack. That guy was saying two years ago that BG should be dropped from I-A football and how bad it sucked. Never mind that he had no idea about BG football history and he was going off of only what BG did from the time he stepped on Ohio's campus as a student. Two seasons later after his statement, BG has been ranked in the Top-25 in back-to-back seasons, has won a bowl game (something OU hasn't even been to since 1968 - and lost), is 7-1 against BCS opponents, has beaten several ranked teams (Purdue, NIU), had ESPN College Gameday on BG's campus, had five National TV games on just last season alone, had a couple crowds of more than 30,000, and BG's helmet is hanging in the College Football Hall of Fame in South Bend, Indiana as I write this.....etc., etc. Not to mention, we own a sizeable lead over OU in the series history and beat the snot out of the Bobcats the last time the two teams met. The funny things is, we actually trailed 7-0 in that game!
So Hail Peden, feel free to visit and feel free to post on this board. But if you've come onto this board to talk smack, then get ready to eat crow. I could have been hired as OU's new OC and taught the team how to throw a forward pass, and I would have done it for minimum wage and could have saved the Bobcats some cash in the process. Phil Early is too "Late" for OU's problems, Knorr is probably toast and Ohio will still likely end up bringing up the rear in the MAC - again. Actions speak louder than words, and right now, I can't hear a word OU is saying!
Nice chatting with ya!
GO BG!!!
