make the brown jersey not look like something someone in a silkscreening class did and i'll talk. until then...not all of us are browns fans.

actually, don't care about the mistake by the lake, as long as im not in the river when u drop a match you can do whatever, but all i'm saying is our orange jersey is much more of a unique look. name one other team, PRO or college that has that jersey? eh? eh?
hey everyone! i'm a moron!

Even setting jerseys aside, how many teams have orange in their primary color scheme - Florida, Clemson, Tenn., Boise State, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Miami of Florida, 'Cuse, Texas, Oklahoma State, UTEP, Auburn, Oregon State, Illinois, etc. How many schools have brown in their primary color scheme? BG, Wyoming ... and ... I'm sure I'm missing one, but you get the point. Brown is a rare color in college sports.

Personally I haven't cared for any of BG's jerseys over the past few years. The Brown ones we have now I don't particularly like, but I do like the fact that they are basically bringing back a more traditional jersey from our past. I still think they need some orange on them though.

I really dislike the Orange jerseys that have the brown triangles up the sides...they just look stupid, like all jerseys of that style.

If given the choice I would prefer orange jerseys with brown & white stripes around the sleeves.

Found a website that lists all 1A schools. If your school name doesn't start with W and one of your colors is brown you go to BG. And 87 you're right you missed one-the obvious one. Fellow MAC member WMU. BG, Wyoming and Western-that's it.

As mentioned earlier, though, WMU has pretty much abandoned brown in their color scheme. They still list it as an official color, but I don't think they've used it in any of their uniforms for a few years now.

Well, of course they haven't. I mean...it's brown. ;-)

I agree, some say this look is bland but I always liked the crisp clean look of the Browns white on white, Texas, Colorado, and this set:

Some called those jerseys boring, but I really liked the simple look of them during the couple games that the Falcons wore them. WMU and, obviously, Ball State stick out in my memory as white on white games during J5's senior year.

those are nice but i like the white on whites now. I remember when they first wore them against Oklahoma and my friends and I sat around the tv thinking they were awesome.

If bG is getting new uni's I think the main concern should be the fit. The previous versions have been more loose fitting, and you'll notice that a lot of other schools have altered their classic looks with microfiber so the jersey has a better fit (michigan, cincinnati, central mich to name a few)

Brown jerseys are fine with me - I just think the ones we have now look like we got them at a Kmart blue-light special. I much prefer our current all-orange unis to the brown ones. But bring back the orange pants and brown jerseys from the 80s...oh yeah....:)
