Phil Steele's College Football preview is out!

Post by Falconfreak90 »

I only buy Phil Steele's nowadays. Steele picks Kent State to win the East followed by BG and Miami tied for 2nd...He has UT first in the West followed by WMU and NIU. Steele said he expects AT to have "a vastly improved 2007 season" and BG makes his list of "most improved teams" for 2007. FWIW, Steele's publication has been the most accurate 8 years in a row. And he picks Michigan State tied for 8th in the B 11 and Minny dead last.

For $9, you simply cannot beat Steele's publication. It blows all the others out of the water.

Time to go read...< than 80 to go...

GO FALCONS!!!

Unfortunately AT is behind Sheehan on the depth chart.

I thought that's what Brandon told our intrepid reporter (Chris) at one of the barnstorming stops.

Not unfortunate to me. AT had ample chance to seize the job last year, and came up short. He followed that up by looking like the third best QB on the team at the spring game.

And that's saying something given that Sheehan struggled at times and Glaud didn't get that many opportunities.

If Turner is our best QB we better hope he's improved drastically over what he showed most of last year and in the spring game. I'd be quite happy to see somebody other than Turner take the bulk of this year's snaps.

I think AT is behind Sheehan. I'm not sure we have QB is a very strong position this season, but if it is Sheehan, then I hope it is him all year, so there are no distractions.

Don't shoot the messenger, fellas...just pointing out what Steele said in the QB section of the BG preview page.

I am well aware Sheehan is at the top of the depth chart right now. I'll see what Coach B says in a couple hours at the Tour stop.

GO BG!~

Hey Freak, I just heard Rt. 8 northbound is closed at the turnpike. You might want to look into that before leaving.

Rt 8 is a freakin mess these days with all the construction. I will be hopping on 480 and coming over that way. My office in Twinsburg is about 2 miles north of the 'Pike.

Thanks for the heads up.

Should someone warn the coaches that Freak is going to be there? This might feel like an interrogation to them. :o

You sure do take the opportunites to put down Turner. If they go with inexperience you will get the same results as the last season.
