I would LOVE to see Omar, Pope, Magner, et al run over the Bucks like a Mack Truck!!! That would be OH SO SWEET!!!! We'd be the first Ohio team in something like 50 years to beat THE bucks. Ahh...The taste of that victory would be oh so sweet!!!

But...Let's not get ahead of ourselves...We still have a good Toledo team to get by. They are not just going to roll over this weekend. They would love nothing more than to spoil our hopes. The Victory over Marshall was great, but they still hung 35 points on us. We need to tighten up the D and keep our offense flowing! DAMN THAT NIU LOSS!!!

I am hoping that our ranking this week gets the team fired up and ready to roll in the Glass Bowl rather than thinking they can just walk into UT and beat them!!! I can't WAIT!!! Go Eastern Mich and GO FALCONS!!!!!

we'd be the first ohio team EVER to beat the bucks. Thats why they have such big heads. (that and hot air expands)

I would be OK with any ohio school playing them in the MCB, but id rather it be BGSU. not that osu will play in that bowl anyway, they will be picked up way before MCB gets its turn.

Not true. I'm fuzzy on this, but I believe Akron beat them when John Heisman was the Akron coach. I'm sure Ohio State has lost to a few other Ohio teams, too. I think Oberlin even beat 'em once.

Obviously, all that was a long, long time ago.

if you could find this info id really appreciate it. It was always my understanding that, at least in NCAA history, that no ohio team has ever eaten the suckeyes.

Oberlin was the last Ohio team to beat OSU back in 1921, 7 to 6.

Ohio Wesleyen (sp) also knocked off the Buckeyes. If you ever listen 1470 The Ticket Tom Cole brings this up from time to time as he played at OWU.

We're not getting too much computer lovin', but apparently it is just enough barely to clear us into the poll.

Congats on breaking into both polls. (and a belated congrats and even bigger "thanks" for wiping the field with Marshall!). Personally, I would have you higher than #24 and 25 (i.e., closer to #20), but as someone here said, "ranked is ranked!" It's a great feeling isn't it? :)

RedHawk65's Top 5 Ohio Teams:
1)BGSU
2)Miami
3)Toledo (sorry guys)
4)OSU
5)Akron
