I noticed that photo...it looks as if the field is going to be significantly higher than it used to be. :?

Grant, I haven't been out there to actually see it and I know you have, so I won't question your judgement (too much  ). But is it possible that that is just an illusion from the perspective of the picture? Yes, where the drains are definitely need to be brought up to grade. But they also have the black nylon stuff(?) around them, whereas the rest of the field looks like the black nylon stuff is already covered. So it could be just this small section isn't up to grade because it is a staging area or something. Just a thought.

And if you look at the Sebo cam, it sure looks like that area at the North end where the referenced drains are at is covered in stone now.

Yep, could be that we're still waiting on the Choke Stone.

They were still working late Saturday evening spreading and leveling stone, so it might be that the final layer of stone has been put on. I was there about 6pm Saturday and there has been a significant change since then as it is all leveled etc and looks finished. I don't know if they worked Sunday or not, but it wouldn't suprise me if they did.

I should be over there again this evening. I'll post an update if I can tell one way or another what stage things are at.

See if you can figure out where that mysterious slab of concrete is supposed to lead to as well. I'm baffled by that one. It cuts right across the area where they played the Youth Flag Football games.

I just left the Doyt and the stone looks to be completely up to grade all around the field including the drains, and to a laymen looks ready for the "carpet"! I also was in the New locker room and it is coming along nicely, with them currently putting the final touches on the drywall. The field looks simply amazing standing in the Sebo Center looking out on it. :D 8) :D :-D

Were you looking around while I was running the stadium steps (AKA committing suicide on a 95 degree day??) Agreed, it looks like it's ready to go for me. Smaller gravel than before and up to grade!

You should have gone onto the gravel and kicked some stones around. Get those crews past the August 1 deadline and make some cash for the University!!

Funny that you say that, because yesterday when I was there (again), they were dragging it to smooth it out and it looked like a lot of footsteps on the parts that were not yet dragged.

The band seats are not theirs to sell. They belong to Mr. Wegel (sp?) andhe shall do with them as he pleases.
