Did Bieksa sign an extension?

Post by Jacobs4Heisman »

I was at lunch and saw something scroll across the bottom line on ESPN. I thought I made out the words "Bieksa" and "3-yr extension".

Not a bad piece of change. Congrats to him! He's done a great job in Vancouver.

What is the tax rate in Canada and in City of Vancouver ?
At a rate of 60 %, a donation of $ 1,000,000 would only cost him
$ 400,000 of spendable cash !!

Easy for me to say, eh?

donation

Beezer will never donate a dollar to the hockey program while Pooch is the head coach. Neithr will the rest of us as well. The school and the program will get donations from us when Paluch is gone.

Months ago there were comments thrown around that there was a major problem between Coach Paluch and Rob Blake; has anyone determined the rest of the story?

Given that he played at BG with Paluch, there very well could be...

There have been rumors that not a lot of alumni are fans of Paluch. I have no idea about the validity of those rumors, but I will say donations aren't exactly rolling in these days.

None of the alumni like Paluch. The guys he played with know the kind of person he is and the guys that played for him know as well. he is disliked by all of the alumni and we as alumni will not give any money to the school or the hockey program until he is gone. Why would we donate money to something that is a waste. Paluch being the head coach of our team is a waste.

Myself along with the rest of the alumni can not wait to give money and come to events and be their for the program. I can't wait for tat day. But we, and I beleive I speak for the majority will not do this until he is gone. A change needs to be made. We feel that we are better taking our money and throwing it in the garbage. It would be the same as donating money to the program with Paluch as the coach.

I mean come on now everyone, his own teamattes, the guys he played with here at BG do not even like him. Doesn't everyone realize he is an absolute AS#HO*& that does not deserve the honor to be the head coach of our program.

Scott Paluch was a senior in 1987 - 88
when Rob Blake was a freshman.
I forgot that they did overlap.

You all know how I feel about the sorry situation this program is in, but I got ask this question: If the entire hockey alumni hates this guy so much, how the heck did he get hired in the first place?

I realize some guys pay closer attention than others as the years go by, but surely someone would have told the University to steer clear of Paluch. Did they slip Pooch past you, when you weren't looking?

I have this to say, I'll be buying my season tickets (IF I'M EVER MADE AWARE THAT THEY ARE FOR SALE!!!!), but something needs to change. I want to like Pooch, but nothing has changed in the years he's been here. I'm pretty frustrated, but looking forward to a new season.

ANYBODY KNOW WHEN THE SEASON TICKETS WILL BE FOR SALE? I can't belive they haven't been advertising them yet!?

Given that the season doen't start until late October I'm not sure I'd call it late, yet, for season tickets. Besides, they're losing more season ticket holder than they're gaining right now. It shouldn't take that long to sell and disperse them...
