Give the guy a break...he cut the number of vioations from eight pages to four in seconds. He's got the program half cleaned already. Let's give him some time to really get hings done!!! :-)

Does anyone else have an uneasy feeling about how the situations at Ball St. and Toledo are going to impact the national image of the MAC? I have to wonder what Chryst is doing to ensure compliance at other conference schools. Well, knowing Chryst, probably nothing. But, you know...

Apparently, they don't like to keep the drama cooped up in just the men's hoops program...

Volleyball, too!

And still, Thompson remains hidden/shielded from the vicious Muncie media...

Ray was right. There's a lot of folks in his comments that owe him an apology he'll never see.

Thompson's gone, but (as witnessed by the former volleyball coach), I don't think that tree is done shaking it's bad apples...

This is beyond ugly. What really happened? I do not think we will find out.

I think more will come out if they don't find the cash to keep the volleyball coach from saying more than he has.

Also, I've heard here and there that Thompson had a clause in his contract that said he had to return some of his cash (the number I heard is $175K, I believe) if he leaves before two years. However, the folks in Muncie seem to be up in arms that they're going to reach some kind of settlement to pay him even though he left their program in a trash heap.

The lawsuits that will likely be tossed about in the aftermath may show a thing or two of what's going on up there.
