Tickets can be purchased in the ticket office or at the door!

$8 for adults, $5 for students

Hey thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.

If you happened to notice a flute player with kinda frizzy brown hair sitting smack in the middle of the front row, that was me!

I was sitting in the back row so I couldn't see anyone lower than the risers. I loved the concert, but the facility was a little more to be desired. The ballroom in the Union is a wonderful facility but not for that type of a concert. It was difficult to see and you had to look from side to side to see the gaurd or twirlers. I know Kobacker would not have worked out and Anderson Arena was booked, so I am happy for what we had.

Was Anderson where the band used to have its shows when the FMB was really big back in the day? That would be nice.... it would make the risers kind of unnecessary, and those suckers are HEAVY.

As I recal, and this only goes back to 1995 the concert was held in Kobacker with one exception. I have seen pictures of the band in Anderson Arena from Mark Kelly's time as director. Maybe others can help me out.

All I know for sure is that from '91/92 to '95/96 seasons, it was in Kobacker. Also, a few seasons before and after were there too. Beyond that, I don't know. I always liked the Kobacker shows for many reasons. The opening, with the percs coming up out of the pit, was pretty cool.

I went in I think 1988 or 9 to see the FMB Concert. My band director was the father of one of the percs (Scott Malchus) and we took a busload out there as a field trip. That concert was in Anderson....good concert, too. It was my first time eating at the McDonalds across from Harshman.

good times.

it would be great to have the show in Kobacker...but after the show on 9-11, I think we realized it's just downright impossible to comfortably put that many people on one stage! If we get any bigger...the ballroom isn't going to work either. Not the band increasing is bad...bring it on...we just have to keep finding new homes! Hope you all enjoyed the concert today!

In 2001 the Sounds of the Stadium concert was held in Anderson, in conjunction with the Uni, and Concert bands, as well as the Wind Ensemble. It was kinda cool with 4 bands, but I'm not sure I'd want to do it agian. Today's concert was great! With everything that could have gone wrong today, the show was awesome. With this being my fourth and final year in the FMB, I must say it was also an emotional day. I made it about 4 bars into the Alma Mater before I had to stop playing. Thank you everyone for all the memories. Ya'll are the best.
