In The Steeple, Kim Settle had her lifetime best by finishing in 4th place in 10:46.38

Congrats, Kim. This area must breed great steeplechasers. UT had Brianna Shook-All-American from Tiffin who had American bests back in maybe 2003 and 2004. Don't remember if she was first or second in NCAA but she would have made the Olympics except she missed a hurdle.

Of course being a Falcon Freak you know of the great Sid Sink, All-American steepler for BG back when I ran in the 1970s. Sink was also the coach at BG for awhile. BG had nationally ranked track teams back then Ours, sadly, were just rank.
