Wow! Thanks for the "close up " pix Grant. The SEBO cam doesn't do justice to the details... I didn't realize HOW torn up they did the Doyt. But the pix sure tell the story... Looks like they're dragging/leveling the field on today's shots. Hope next step is to start actual installation... I can't wait to get back to BG to see the finished product. Hope they'll have some sort of special event for us "contributors" ( I think I own about 2-3 doorknobs in the SEBO right now)

The folding chair thing is looking more and more realistic. There is A LOT of storage room underneath those stands. By a lot, I mean it may be more square footage than my apartment. Its going to be awesomeplaying with the SEBO as a backdrop.

I posted in the football forum, but I thought it merited writing here too. Those square ends of the band stands are filled with dirt now. Being the nerd for landscaping that I am, I can't wait to see what they put in there.

It looks like we'll have a small concrete patio for ladders and percs, too. Getting the drums down out of the stands should free up some space for the rest of us!

Trees to shade the dirt and flowers to attract bees during football games.

Rather then start a new topic, I figured I would just post this here.

You were correct my friend. But, I'm hoping that eventually the steps will fade to the color of the rest of the concrete.

With that said, I took a look at the field from the top of the band stands and it's an impressive sight. I am a bit confused at what the "secret room" is going to hold, though. The only thing I could think of is it will store all the "gameday" equipment such as yardage markers, goal posts pads, etc.

It maybe storage for the field, or it may be storage for the band. I thought when we got the news they said it was storage for us but I can't be sure.

This leans a little away from the pregame entry tradition we have but: When I was at the field today checking out my new seats I couldn't help but imagine the FMB with a new style entrance onto the field. Filing single or double file out of that tunnel out onto the field. It would be sweet. The drawback is pregame would have to be revamped entirely for it to be possible. I'm not sure I could cope with losing our current format.

I have heard a rumor that the team will actually be entering the field from that area (RE: the door below the band stands). I don't know how true that will turn out to be, but if you look at the other infrastructure around the Sebo Ctr. and the stadium, it kind of makes sense.

No matter what, I am bursting at the seems to see the FMB in those stands on game day!
