McLeod's future...?

Post by TG1996 »

The Pacers signed PG Travis Diener today... not a good sign for Keith, especially if Darrell Armstrong sticks around another year. :(

(*EDIT: Of course, I expect him to get picked up SOMEWHERE, but for selfish reasons, and because I think he was getting on a roll here, I'd like him to stay in Indy.)

I agree. He was playing well with the Pacers. I really don't care for the NBA, but I started to watch the Pacers because of Keith.

Maybe the Cavs will get smart and pick him up. :D

It doesn't matter where he goes because the refs have control of the games...and I guess the mob does too

I'd love to see McLeod in Cleveland, but it doesn't make sense. In Eric Snow, they already have back-up point who is a marginal shooter and a tough defender.

McLeod needs to find his niche in the NBA, meaning the right coach/system and combination of teammates. In wouldn't hurt if he became a better FG% shooter.

I could see him going back to Utah and playing for Sloan.

A "reliable" source tells me Keith is in demand overseas. If he doesn't get a guaranteed offer from an NBA team, he'll head to Europe and make some serious cash playing in the top league over there.

Not my source but a nice validation.

The Garnett Trade to boston leaves the Celtics a LOT of roster space..... I'm sure that they will at least take some interest...... there's not another player on that team with as much NBA experience as Keith (aside from their "big 3")...... seriously.......

also funny to note while checking out boston's roster they have Ray Allen and Allan Ray on the same team.

I had wondered the same thing. And McLeod and Garnett have a bit of a history from his time with the T-Wolves. I wonder if Keith made an impression?
