Now that the field is green, orange, brown, and white, maybe the athletic department will do something with the seats to add more color.

I still like grass, I don't care how nasty it gets. In my youth, I remember watching Jim Brown running through some sloppy fields at the old Cleveland stadium. That made for great photo ops.

Maybe it's absence is a sign we could be looking for a new conference.

Yep. We're following Toledo when they move to the Big East... uh, five years ago.

Looking at the Sebo Cam right now, it looks like some work on the end zone is about to begin.

It's actually looking like "Bowling Green" and I think that is what is going to be in both endzones...I'm predicting MAC logos at the kickoff yardage point (35 Yard line).

Before they put those logos at the 35 they better check this rule change out from MAC Report Online:
The most noticeable difference for this season will be that kickoffs will now originate from the 30 yard line as opposed to the 35 yard line so we can expect more returns and fewer touchbacks.

Great, so now instead of our kickers almost getting it to the 10 yard line we'll be lucky if they get it past the 15

Does anyone know what is being done in the north endzone (Thursday, 3:30 p.m.)?

I would imagine they are stitching in the logo. Someone posted another thread with a link to a picasa slideshow which showed this happening up close in the other end zone. The logo appears to be a thin layer of material that is sewn no top of the field turf somehow.

It is cut out and stitched together extremely precicesly. If it were sewn on top that would create different planes of surface, which would make tripping an issue.
Yeah right girl!
