WILL HE STAY, OR WILL HE GO?
By looking at the subject line, you might think I'm talking about Omar leaving after next year for the draft.. which could happen, but is not very likely.
The question is.. how long does Coach Brandon stick around before moving on like the Urban Legend

I'm guessing OMARvelous might leave after next year if he continues with his excellent play. When I see him on the field he looks like another QB I have seen in the MAC *cough*Rothlisberger *cough*...as much as I would love for Omar too stick around if he's got the chance he should go for it. As for Brandon, well i'm pretty sure he signed a 3 year extention on his contract after last year to keep him her til '08 i hope and believe that he will stick around.............
Anyways....we can worry about next year when it rolls around....GO BG

I have a feeling Brandon is waiting for the Colorado job to open up. When that happens, I'll be very, very worried. In the meantime, I'm a bit uneasy about the situation.
I take a bit of comfort in knowing that whatever happens, Coach Brandon won't lie to us.
Still, with the success BG has had, the big guys are going to be sniffing around very shortly. I just hope he sticks around for next season, because if he does stay, 2005 will be very special.

THIS IS STUPID!!
Why is ANYONE discussing this the week before the biggest game of the year?
:coo-coo: After the season is over...then it's the time for idle speculation. Right now we should be discussing how we are going to stomp the snot out the terds up north!!!!!

"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

Sorry. I must have missed the schedule that lists the times when idle speculation is acceptable.Falcon Fanatic wrote:Why is ANYONE discussing this the week before the biggest game of the year?:coo-coo: After the season is over...then it's the time for idle speculation.
Will it be okay to talk about it next Wednesday, or could that affect the bowl game?
After the bowl game, will it be okay to talk about, or will it affect recruiting?
After the recruiting season, will it be okay to talk about, or will it affect preparations for next season?
And weren't we all talking two months ago about how the NIU game was the biggest game of the year?
The fact remains, MAC coaches who are ultra-successful virtually always leave. Coach Brandon's been completely honest about the situation...he's apparently even told the players that he'd be a fool not to listen if a prestigious job comes open.
We can bury our heads in the sand and ignore reality, or we can discuss reality. But either way, what we talk about has absolutely no bearing on what will happen on the field next Tuesday, or at the bowl game, or next year against Wisconsin.

I chose to bury my head in the sand at this moment, thank you very much. I chose to discuss the upcoming BG-tu game, which is the ONLY reality that I think most people want to discuss until after Tuesday. ...and btw, the schedule for idle speculation will be out soon...probably next Wednesday at the earliest.Tommy Glantz Is A Sniper wrote:We can bury our heads in the sand and ignore reality, or we can discuss reality.
