...and yet another thread is graced with macman's words of wisdom...MACMAN wrote:It is if she covers BG football....crackheads and thugs you know.Flipper wrote:Maureen got promoted? Is moving from sports to the crime beat really a promotion?.
We are about due to another lack of judgment that will of course go rewarded by the UNIV...
Can we make it official now, MACMAN has, in fact, beaten the dead horse on this topic?
or the dead cow?...
Finally a senior!

Ryan Autullo will be covering the BGSU beats this year. I'll miss Maureen, but hopefully Ryan will do just as good a job covering Falcon sports!Flipper wrote:Maureen got promoted? Is moving from sports to the crime beat really a promotion?.

Back to the original topic at hand.
Between playing NCAA '08 & now talking about summer camp, I'm freaking ready for some football already!
I'm not the most optimistic person on here when it comes to how we'll perform this year, but I do think we'll be better than we were last year.
I'm just ready to get last year out of our minds and focus on a new season and see what happens! Just sucks we don't get a home game until 9/22

Adrian Baker LB --> DE Still kinda undersized, so he'd better be quick.
Aaron Davis LB --> DB Jumpin Johosephat! GB actually had a stroke of coaching brilliancy here!![]()
Garth Hartung DL --> DE Nice move.
Nick Lawrence DL --> RB NL at DL is laughable but FB makes sense here.
Angelo Magnone LB --> DE Not where I'd put him but it could work out.
Darius Smith OL --> DE I can't honestly believe GB seriously thought of Smith at OL.
Nate Waldron LB --> RB Typical O to D move.
A few of the new roster moves are good with Davis moving to a DB position finally. Some of the other ones are somewhat typical and make decent sense. I still can't stop laughing at the thought of 215lb Darius Smith at OL if he was actually listed as such at one time.

Somewhere between the Maureen crisis and a string of head-shaking yawns, we failed to notice that Sheehan took most of the first team snaps in the first practice...
Blade story
Probably doesn't mean too much, but I figured now that we have actual practices going on, we might want to stop talking about the same crap from the last six months.
