Hopefully this isn't true, but if it is I wish him all the luck. With that said, it's pretty much bulls*it to leave this close to school getting underway.

It appears his name is not on the BG roster.

This probably wont effect our record much this year but it is a dagger to the program to almost have an impact player like this in net, and will definetly not help things in the years to come.

If it's true, the only luck I'm wishing him is bad luck. It is b.s. to pull that this late. You can't replace a guy like that now. At a minimum, we're screwed for a year.

So what do you do anyway? Fill the hole with some warm body. Anyone worthwhile is spoken for.

Last year that warm body was the Club team's goalie. There's a very simple statement to express what this means: We're boned.

Any confirmations on this yet?
I have not seen anything at the Kitchener site or BGSU.

never mind I went and found it and I have to say I think he made the right choice, as Major Jr is also better hockey in my opinion, and I agree with his game time analisis as well.
I only will say that with more games, Double (the NCAA should expand the short season anyway) there is much greater chance of injury, but if I would venture his shot of going straight to the BH is greatly improved over playing at BGSU.

I feel good that this team will be ok with out josh, we would have been a lot better with him, but hell I bet Sprat can get it done and that this will be a great year for him, he has been looking good this summer, more compact and better lateral movement.
we will do well this year.
