Brian Holzinger will be inducted into the Greater Cleveland Sports Hall of Fame. (In a related story, there's a Greater Cleveland Sports Hall of Fame)

I sure miss every Falcon who wore 19 on the ice.

Congratulations, Zinger!

It bears repeating.

I have many regrets. One of those is not seeing Holzinger play his senior year when he averaged almost a goal per game.

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

19 is... and 9 for McPhee... I think those are the only two (for three players)

In fact, Brian Moore currently wearing #3 shows that Blake's number isn't retired.

And it probably won't be since he was only here for three years...

Nelson Emerson was one of my favourite players as a kid and as my dad was a BG alum I got to meet him, Paul Ysebaert, and Dave Ellett while they were in Winnipeg. Nelson Emerson is still in my heart the Winnipeg Jet out of Bowling Green.
Dave Ellett is a hero. A Bowling Green Falcon and a Former Jet and Maple Leaf. What more can a Winnipegger ask for.

Two of Mike David's sons played in the "old timer's game" a few weeks ago. It was great to meet them. They look just like their older brother Patrick, who wasn't able to make it back for the day due to new job committments.

I was wondering who those two were. Who do they play for now?
Also am I correct in my thinking that jon horell was there sporting his thunder gear?

No, I'm pretty sure Horell wasn't there that day. Shawn Timm was in net, as was one of the former players sons, but I forget which one. Possibly Cavallini, Galley or David's son...sorry, just can't remember now.
