Is that what your post was about on AyZiggyZoomBlog? Have you been going to AA (Anderson Arena) meetings to deal with your addiction?

I've seen MAC officials give guys 12 steps heading to the basket, so there's hope for you yet.

Lord grant me the serenity to get my team back on the floor for the OT even when the ref muffed the call...

But as BGHoward used to say-" I love football-keeps me busy until basketball comes around".

But have you ever said the equivalent of "Jason Crump will be the dominant offensive player in the MAC"? Or "Willie Ladson will be BG's best center since Nate Thurmond"? THAT'S an addiction. ;-)

The word you're looking for is not addiction... it's delusion! ;-)

That's exactly what I say each year regarding HOCKEY!! :-D Football is my warm up to the hockey season!

And Grant....I share this addiction with hockey....and I DON'T WANT TO BE CURED!! :smt040
"Regarding BGSU, I would think their biggest strength is that they never give up, They never slow down and they battle hard even after the other team scores. We have to be on our game and never, ever take the foot off the gas for a second."

"BG was relentless. It's like they know that a good first pass on the breakout from a defenseman will almost always result in an odd-man rush against them - but they go in anyway and dare you to make that pass. All three of their goals were just grit and effort. That's a team any fan can be proud to support...they give all they've got."

People, people, people....hockey and hoops are just to fill in the year until summer camp opens for football.

I, too, share an addiction...although a different strain of the addiction. Seems we have quite a problem here.

There's a reason that football season is so relatively short.....it allows more time for the real season. :-D

Tried that once. It was Freaking cold outside. We ran out for more tequila shots between periods too...we parked in the lot by the music building...that was quite the trek.

We got plastered.
Valentine had a hat trick.
And I found hockey incredibly difficult to keep pace with while inebriated.
