I was told that the crew hoped to be completely done with the installation of the Field Turf on Friday. They have all of the edges cut and trimmed along the outside and the field really looks nice up close. About all that is left is to put down the final layers of "grind" and the south goal post for the "field" to be finished!

I'm getting the dreaded red x. Is the cam down now, is it just something on my end? The timing would make sense if it's down.

I can't get it to load either. If it's down I'm going to have a big hole in my life! haha They can't just up and take it offline. I'm going to need more closure than that!

There were some nasty thunder and lighting storms going through here today. It's possible that it may have gotten knocked out by them.

There were some good lightning bolts that struck near the stadium. I was outside playing soccer in the storm behind the Municipal Court (I know, pretty stupid to be out in that kind of storm) and the lightning was really hitting north of the courthouse.

First thing that I noticed was how people were dressed to come to a FB game. Would have to believe that this was shortly after the Doyt was opened...mid 60ish.... When's the last time YOU guys (or me) wore a suit to a FB game, much less a hat?

On the Falcon Athletics site they have pictures of the new signage...they took down the banner of MAC Championship years!!! It has been replaced with "Welcome to the Doyt" I was very surprised they did this and wonder if maybe they moved the banner of championships. It was in front of the press box, but it's gone now.
