MAC Guaranteed 3rd Bowl!!

Not sure if this was posted yet, but an article in Today's blade says that the Silicon Valley Bowl is signing a 1-year deal today to bring in a MAC team to fill it's open slot as the Pac-10 will be short 3 bowl eligible teams.

THIS IS HUGE!!!! AWESOME!!! Man, I sure as heck hope we beat Toledo and can land in one of these three bowl games. To be honest, I hope we go to the Silicon Valley Bowl. It's a different look for a MAC team and I think it's almost more rewarding for our players to be playing in California in the postseason than in Michigan or Alabama. Just my opinion. None the less, this is great, great news for the MAC - and hopefully for BG!

Man, I was really worried about this. I didn't think our attendance impressed bowl officials at our game against Marshall Sat. And, I still wouldn't be surprised if we still get looked over precisly for our ridiculous attendance numbers. If we are picked to somewhere, it will be because of our decent attendance at the MCB last year. We still need to lambast UT no matter what. Amen?
