Lets also remember, the murals will change, its likely just those canvas things they use on the scoreboard. So we can have many years of different pics. Just think of the web galleries and collectors items this will produce!

That isn't Antonio Daniels pictured in the mural? It's very hard to see for me because it's so blurry, but it looks more like AD to me than it does AS. The second number on the jersey is obviously folded over some, it's 30-something, but when I first saw the picture, I thought it was AD and I thought that I have seen that picture of him before. It also looks a little too slim to be Stacey. Maybe not though, I can’t see it clearly. But also, you could easily make a case for Nate Thurmond, and for baseball, Orel Hershiser.
It's 100% Stace.
Thanks for the info, I just can't see it clear enough and thought it was AD. Either way, you can't go wrong with either one.
GO BG!!!

Amstutz' bobblehead is positively anorexic. Twenty years later nobody remembers that Stacey could have lost a few-they want him looking good. Twenty years later that bobblehead STILL won't fool anybody but Tom has a few more to lose than Stacey.

Excellent! Very well done, DD! You should really do this more often.

You know, Dayons? I agree with you.

"The Doyt" seems too informal to me. It also seems like we are trying a wee bit too hard.

I'd rather have, simply "Doyt L. Perry Stadium."

Well, the PDF has this to say:

"GRAPHICS & LOGO
- Digital graphics on aluminum composite
- Total area covered: 14.75’ x 36’
- Tiled: 41.25” panels, 10 x 4 panel grid
- 2” gap between panels
- Replace existing logo with 95” x 90”
“BG” block logo"

I don't know if Digital Graphics are to be printed ON the aluminum, or if they will be placed on the aluminum like banners or the "wraps" cities put on busses and subway cars.

The quote that confused me was this: "The elevator shaft on the east side of the stadium will feature a 37-foot mural featuring some of the recent Falcon standouts, including Omar Jacobs, Scott Mruczkowski and P.J. Pope. This graphic enhancement will be clearly visible to onlookers from I-75 as they pass through Bowling Green, Ohio."

OK, I haven't been to BG in two years, but isn't the elevator shaft on the west side, facing Ridge St.? How the heck are people on I-75 going to see that?

For the record, I really like these upgrades, and think that the Doyt is going to look GREAT this year.

You are correct, the elevator shaft on the wast side still faces Ridge Street.

There is an elevator on both sides of the stadium.

I agree with DD about referring to DLP as "The Doyt" too much. I've changed my avatar to Perry Stadium.
