It woun't make a bit of difference if our QB's don't come around....if AT doesn't step up and seize this job, I will be concerned come September 01.

AT cant come around, its imposible did you watch him at all last season, he is not ever going to be a good qb...this is season is lost esp if try it with him.
This is an absurdly ignorant comment. The number of players (especially QBs) who have gone from looking lost to becoming stars is unfathomable. It happens all the time, and it could potentially happen here...especially when you're talking about a QB like Turner who has all the physical tools and has just not put it together mentally.
I wasn't enthused about his play last year, and quite frankly I'd just as soon look in another direction than try to wait him out any longer. Still, to make a statement like that certainly makes one think Flipper may be on to something.
Have you ever seen some one try to play gold that just doesnt get it? Has no ability and just keeps trying. Sure they "play golf" alot...and have fun...but they suck and could never be considered competitve. AT is this person, but he trying to be a QB the leader of a football of team...listen its real simple...either youve got or you dont and last years preseaon he showed he did not have a glimmer and then he proved it inthe season time and time again he did not gain any composure all season, and he doesnt have this preseason...he SUcKS. GB just like beating dead horses and he sucks as a HC...he was a good OC...but hes no head coach...
AT will likely lead the MAC and D1 in ITN this year
Have you ever even watched college football?
Turner was a bad QB last year. He was inconsistent and way too erratic. His good times were not good enough to outweigh his bad times. I'll agree with that. But I also don't think Sheehan was any better...if anything he may have been worse.
There are plenty of QBs who are bad one year and good the next. At the very least it seems completely foolish to not expect at least some improvement. Brady Quinn wasn't real good as a FR/SO, but had a terrific final two seasons. Harris improved dramatically as a passer his Jr. year. Omar was far better his SO year than he was when he played as a RS Freshman. I laughed at Gradkowski when I saw his first start, and he ended up a darn good player. The list can go on forever. For you to say he has no chance to be better is just ludicrous.
All that being said, I'm not a fan of Turner. Not because I think he's worthless, but because I haven't seen much improvement in the mental side of his game over the past few years. I'm glad the staff has opened up the starting position for competition and let the best man win. Personally I think Turner has more physical talent than Sheehan, but the time is now for AT to step up. If Sheehan beats him out, then I'll be glad to root for Sheehan. If AT wins the job I hope he'll show some growth as a player.
Your blind hatred, filled with incoherent ramblings is starting to grow real old.
BO: The WR who caught that TD was Kelvin Davis, and he's no longer listed on the current roster.
Hope I didn't scare him off
