Is this 2007's theme?

Post by 1987alum »

Some of the football support staff sported shirts at practice that read (on the back):

The pride is back
Next is FEAR

Is that the team's "mantra" for 2007?

There were a couple real "catchy" phrases on the walls of the strength room at the Sebo Center, I think "pride" and "fear" were in there.

From what I could see, however, there were no "Hang in there, baby" posters with a cat doing pull ups.

Last year's shirts simply had "212*" on the back (which I never got). And yes, this year's mantra is "The Pride is Back. Fear is Next."

Anybody have a clue what the shirts meant last year?

It would make more sense if it was 313.

You mean 212 with a degree sign after it?!

212 degrees is the temperature of boiling water. I printed the shirts, I had to ask cause I was wondering, too :D

Macman isn't clever enough to pull this off so I'll do it for him....420 would have made more sense
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

No, it was an asterisk after it. They had asked Barry Bonds for references for a strength and conditioning coach.
