Football "Field Suite"

Post by Tricky_Falcon »

I received this in my Falcon Club E-mail today. It appears there will be a field suite.

Falcon Athletics is offering very special vantage point to watch a Falcon football game this season. A Field Suite located in the northwest corner of the stadium (near the Sebo Athletic Center) is available for each home game. Similar to hospitality suites at PGA events, it will be a tented area on a riser with some stadium-style seating in front.

Maybe the AZZ gang should pony up the $2500 to use this for one game..it includes TWENTY tickets and FIVE parking passes....or then again, maybe not.

So where's the band come into the stadium then?

They rise through the new logo from the tunnels below the field.

I know they're trying to raise money, but those things looked so tacky at the Toledo game a few years ago.

Well that's sweet...I have no complaints now.

That was a temporary one time thing. Let's at least wait until we see the thing before we start complaining. ;)

Agree completely. Mr. Sebo is not going to allow his building to have a trashy look from the start. I expect it to be protected like fine china the first few years.

I like the idea we are trying something else new like this. Aside from costs, I wondered why the Sebo wasn't built to connect to the west side of the grandstand in the first place to completely close in the north endzone. It sounds like that open corner of the endzone will be the area where the field suite will end up then. It could also be a different type of suite than the one that was used for the last Toledo home game too. I guess we’ll have to wait and see.

We're told that we will be entering from the North side of the stadium now, which is nice, because we can chair when we hit the 'grass' again. We havn't done that in two years.
Yeah right girl!
