Bowling Green, Toledo, Northern Illinois, Miami, and Akron are the bowl eligible teams in the MAC. Root for UTAH to go to a BCS bowl so we can go to Vegas or SF. Otherwise, we've got this nightmare to wake up to.

If this happens, then it happens and there is nothing we can do about it. Just means that we need to take care of business and knock the socks off of these clowns!

haha. looks like we've got fresno state worried about the MAC teams... including lowly AKRON! that's funny. BG, NIU, toledo, or Miami could all beat fresno state any day of the week. akron, if they get another performance like they did against marshall might have a chance.
Fresno St. is a very solid program, they aren't afraid to play the big boys in the non-conference portion of their schedule. They drilled both BCS schools they played, Washington and Kansas St. Playing in their backyard would be a very difficult matchup for any MAC school going out there.
I just asked them if they remember waking up to 28-21.
Let's see if they 'get it.'
That, my friends, was one of the best college football games I have ever seen ('91 Raisin Bowl).
I still remember how their players has nothing good to say about the BG squad. They all said the same thing. "it would have been nice to go over to the WAC with a bowl win" etc. Gads, it turns my stomach to this day. They supposedly gave us the game. It had nothing to do with our defense shutting them down.

Mark Szlachcic beat future NFL DB Marquez Pope to death that day. After the dissapointment of the 1983 and 1985 match ups with Fresno State, 1991 was indeed a pleasure.
