POPE
Is he? Last I heard he blew out his knee and would be out for a long while.bgsufalcon24 wrote:This thread should've been titled, Chuck/PJ on TV. Don't forget about Pope, he's doing pretty well up in Green Bay.

Gee, I never heard about that. If that's the case, then never mind.Dayons_Den wrote:Is he? Last I heard he blew out his knee and would be out for a long while.bgsufalcon24 wrote:This thread should've been titled, Chuck/PJ on TV. Don't forget about Pope, he's doing pretty well up in Green Bay.

Chuck got the start but I don't think anything got thrown in his direction...as for taking either one of these guys in FFB, I hope you're in a 24 team league because, no disrespect, thats the only time I would ever take Sharon. He's an unproven receiver. Training camp and Regular season have absolutely nothing in common other than the fact that football is being played. I wish Sharon all the best...and while we're talking about former BG wideouts, Sanders is listed as #3 on the Browns WR depth chart right now.

Based solely on the stats, it doesn't look like the other Jags receivers set the world on fire either. I think Chuck has earned himself a roster spot and I hope he has a great regular season.footballguy51 wrote:Well, thus far...and what appears to be all he's going to do, he's caught 1 pass for 12 yards. Not as good as his previous outings, but you can't expect him to be excellent every game.

Re: POPE
Actually you have known about that 24, I have told numerous times about Pope being sidelined with a knee. Maybe you just forgot. But you did know about it.bgsufalcon24 wrote:Gee, I never heard about that. If that's the case, then never mind.Dayons_Den wrote:Is he?
