oops.
i drove past and took alumni dr. around and saw that there were a whole bunch of people over there. that's when i remembered the high school games.
ohhh well. looks like i'll get my photos next week. it's too bad too. the weather is perfect right now to get some good pics.

A) - Hosting HS games is is a relatively new trend for BG, faux pas are to be expected IMO.
B) - Whose to say that it was BGSU's responsibility to supply a flag? The only thing they're really doing is renting the facilities. It's my opinion that the home team is responsible for all other facets of the game day environment.

Actually, I'd think that it should fly there regardless of game days or not. It's a building with people working in and around it, and there's a flag pole...factman wrote:In my book, an American flag should be part of the facility!!!

So when they came to play the national anthem, and people were supposed to turn towards the flag, did they all just start spinning around in circles until they passed out?

Lets not forget flying a flag with rips and tears.Dayons_Den wrote:I"m a flag waving liberal and nothing tears me up more than improper use of the flag- leaving it up in the rain, not lighting it night, keeping it at the same height as other flags- are my major pet peeves with flag usage.
And Olympic athletes that want to wrap themselves in the flag and then go strutting around the track and flexing and making complete idiots out of themselves...they really infuriate me.

They all faced Burger King across the road where the flag was flying.NWLB wrote:So when they came to play the national anthem, and people were supposed to turn towards the flag, did they all just start spinning around in circles until they passed out?
I proudly chose to be a Falcon and a Falcon I will remain until the end.
