If anyone in the Vermillion area could tell me where the game might be...that would be awesome. This wedding reception for my BIL starts a 5:30 and goes till 11. Guess who's ducking out at 8 to go watch the game for a while?
BTW, If anyone that gets the game at home could tape it for yours truly, I'd greatly appreciate it.
GO FALCONS!!!

Well, that shot my plan. According to BG's website, the Pub is closed over Labor Day Weekend. BW3, Fricker's, Junction, Downtown, or maybe even Ziggy's.
I was under the impression that the Big 10 network was not available to Bars and restaurants, as a way to pressure Cable Companies into offering the channel and have their customers complain.
Ziggy's does not have DirecTV or Dish. They have Time Warner.
Does the network have that kind of power to block where it's able to be shown? What is stopping Joe Schmo with a 60" LCD from inviting his friends over to his house to watch? Is that not the same thing?
In addition, the Big Ten Network and DIRECTV are pleased to announce carriage of the network is now available for bars, restaurants, hotels, universities, private offices and other commercial establishments. If you are interested in adding Big Ten Network to your business establishment, please contact your local authorized DIRECTV retailer or call DIRECTV's Business Service Center at 888.200.4388.
Just got an email back from Buckeye Cable, their plan is to show both BG games on BCSN, which will be their overflow channel. So cheer loudly those who have access to BCSN, this game will be on!

Freak, Buckeye Cable (I hate the name also) which serves the Erie County area just picked up the Big 10 Network on channel 67 and 81. I'm not sure if they serve Vermilion but do serve Huron/Sandusky. BW-3 in Sandusky on Rte. 250 has eleventy-million TV's so getting the game there should not be a problem. I'm going to be in Cincinnati or I'd invite you over to my house to watch. Hopefully I'll be able to find the network down there.
Columbus boys, does someone want to take the point and suggest a meeting place?
I'm in Grandview so I'm open to anything. I'd prefer a place that isn't that busy, and we know for sure they'll have it on. I can call Barley's on 33 and see if I can organize something if we can get five or more people.
i just made some phone calls to help out the people in the BG area. Here are my results:
Jed's - Yes
BW-3's - Yes
Fricker's - Yes
The people at Jed's seemed to think it was on ESPN. I corrected them and they said they'd be getting the Big Ten Network on Friday so they'd have the game. The others just gave me a simple yes... so hopefully this is accurate!

Thanks, I currently cannot post larger versions of it because I'm working with a guy from the SBX to get prints made and sold of it. If you'd like, I'll let you know if/when we get that worked out.
I took other photos that night as well but have not finished post-production work on them.

Insight Cable here in Columbus picked up the Big 11 network. Looks like I will be dishing out more cash on my bill for something I will watch twice a year.
