Will Rocket Fans eat crow if we win?

Do you think we'll see any Rocket fans on here if we beat them especially if we wallop them like we did to Marshall? I doubt it, see we have nothing to lose, we need a miracle to win the MAC West and even if we lose to Toledo we'll probably still go to a bowl game at 8-3 while Toledo MUST win to win the MAC West and must win to get to 8-3 and have a good enough record to make a bowl game. So, we have nothing to lose so if we do lose on the road then we don't have to eat crow because the loss meant nothing. However if we beat Toledo then Toledo won't go to a bowl game, won't win the MAC and will be defeated on their turf, which will be a crushing defeat. So they must eat crow because they lost so much from the game after talking so much smack. I haven't talked smack against Toledo and "most" other people on here haven't either. See we lost on the road to teams who are 17-3 combined while Toledo lost on the road to teams who are 15-15 combined AND they lost by an average of 30 points a game while we lost by an average of 16 points a game against much better competition. So.....the moral of the story is, we have shown that we don't lose badly when we lose and that Toledo if they win will win by 3 or 7 points not 14 or 21 like some of their fans are claiming. However, given their track record and ours, if we do win it will most likely be by MORE than 7 points and more like 14 or 21. So Toledo will either lose badly or barely win and we will either barely lose or win convincingly.....edge to Bowling Green undoubtedly. Prepare to eat crow Toledo Fans!

First of all, I only read the first line of your post, since my eyes are paragraph break-friendly. And secondly, there has only been one UT fan here this week, TouchdownRockets, and he's been pretty cordial about the game. If others come by and start throwing insults and smack, then yeah, I would hope they'd come back by to say "good game" if we win, but if they don't, who needs them?

But until now, there's only been one, he's been all right, and has said nothing crow-worthy. Furthermore, I would hope that if (when!) BG wins, no one from here feels the need to rush over to the UT board and rub their noses in it. Let our football team handle the nose-rubbing, and let us handle the celebration, on OUR OWN BOARD.

(Oh yeah, GO BG! BEAT THE SNOT OUTTA THE ROCKETS!)

haha my bad about the lack of paragraph breaks....I'll keep that in mind when I write several lines.

And about eating crow, I was more referring to all their fans on their boards talking all the bogus smack while very few on our site are doing that.....thats what I was referring to.

I might lurk on their board if we win, but I'm keeping to my habit of staying far and away from them for the couple of weeks around the game.

I haven't actually read their board for months, so I may skip it totally.

I think we're talking plenty of smack on our own board. But if we lose, we have no crow to eat for anybody. If they want to talk smack on their board, and lose by 1,386, they still don't have any crow to eat. Its when you start running your mouth on other team's boards that you have to strap a bib on and get ready for some eatin'!!

What does "TG" stand for? Considering the Toledo inferiority complex that most of the posters of this board suffer from, im guessing it stands for Toledo Green. Hows my aim???

I think TJ would come back and eat his crow, he's a smooth guy at heart, as for the other toledo fans I've bantered with, I think not.

I will eat mine(as always) should toledo prevail. ANd I will eat it in large helping until people start to become Aholes about it liek my old "friends" in t-town. Then I will lose it.

b/c we all know who won last year, who is ranked now, who got blown out by KANSAS, who has more MAC titles, and Who leads the all time series in our rivalry. You guys are probably just FULL of Falcon over there, falcon ENVY.
