The tailgaters wouldn't notice this, but its always eerily quiet around here on gameday. At least until kickoff. It is good news. It means "game on".

Game on.

I really hate using this term when talking about teams in the BCS conferences...now, Ohio State, THEY are a BCS team because they have participated in the BCS. Not to take anything away from Minnesota, they are a Big Ten Program that is expected to do pretty well this season. I hope we go in there and kick the Gophers into next season!

Ah BABY!!! WE ARE HERE! I am getting ready to watch TG's countdown clock hit ZERO in about 10 min. I just found out my Father in Law has Buckeye Cable and the BTN so I'll be getting to see the 2nd half. Maybe, just maybe I'll be able to find a TV at this wedding hall. ;) LOL!

MSU / UAB is on ESPN2 in 10 min...time to go scout Sparty.

Game Day....nothing has a finer ring.

GO FALCONS!!!!!!!!! DUMP MINNESOTA

I don't have a problem calling them a BCS team. Sure they're not a traditional powerhouse and they don't have the history of an OSU or Michigan. However, they still have the built in monetary advantage that is preventing the smaller schools from becoming consistent powerhouses. They get the same cut of those BCS bowl revenues & Big 10 network revenue, and NCAA tourney revenue as all the powerhouse teams do. They can still afford to pay their coaches huge salaries based solely on those revenue streams that we don't have access to.

we made it to Minnesota today!!!! It is really sweet up here. We left BG around 10pm last night and got here at this morning around 9:15am (with lots of stops and almost running into a toll booth{another story}) We went to the Twins/Royals game. The Metrodome is sweet. The number one question is, where is Ohio? Then some idiot said why the heck did you drive all this way to see you team get murdered. I wanted to do bad things to him, but i was nice.

Well Just wanted to say we made it and we ARE so PUMPED!!

GOOOOOOOOO FALCONS, BEAT THE GOPHERS!

You mean that a-hole didn't update it to the correct start time? What a dick. :-D

It took a little extra effort to rep the Falcons today, for some reason, the 3 clean BG shirts I own didn't travel in the same box as the rest of my clothes. Hmmm... If I didn't remember to grab the coaches shirt (black, unfortunately), I would have been rocking the '84 style hockey jersey for sure.

Enjoy the game!!! If any other Gopher fools give you crap, just have them refer to the Appalachian St. - Michigan game. And Michigan is supposed to be a good Big Ten team. Hopefully Minny didn't schedule App. St.

I'm so pissed this game isn't on TV. This is awesome! 14-0 BG in the first quarter.

I know the danger here is that the deeper Big 10 team will wear us down later in the game and that we're scoring too fast, but I sure hope we can keep this up.
