This thread is funny. I cant believe how people like to make up SH$T. Here is the link

Here is the first post...

It has just been reported that the Bowling Green coach was paid by Stoops to convince the AD to back out of their scheduled game with Auburn so that Oklahoma could have a boost in SOS. Stoops knew before this season started that Auburn had a good chance of possibly going undefeated, so he wanted to make sure to remove Auburn's best OOC game from their schedule. He also paid Auburn's AD to schedule a 1AA team as a replacement. Little did the Auburn AD know at the time what it would cost him.

Then they go on to say that Brandon is driving a new car and that was the source of his money. Too bad the car has dealer plates on it. Oh no. I just started an investigation. Call the NCAA, our coaches are driving cars loaned to them by local delearships in turn for comps and tickets. Oh no, there goes are bowl bids and scholorships

I looked back at all our schedulues and I do not see Aurbun anywhere on our schedules. Its amazing how people make stuff up. We were scheduled to play LSU but not Auburn. But if Stoops wants to pay anyone he can pay me, I can use a new car, right?

The substituing Oklahoma for Auburn is correct. We were scheduled to play at Auburn this season. Since we are now trying to recruit kids from Texas, Brandon and Krebs thought it would be more beneficial to play against OU than it would Auburn. That is why the game was changed. At least that is what they said on the pre-game show before the OU game.

Cry Baby Stoops is now saying ESPN is pressuring people for votes in favor of Auburn to play for the National Championship because ESPN has a contract with the SEC. It sounds like someone is sweating a little that he may be on the outside looking in this year. It couldn't have happened to a nices guy.

I thought of this the other day, but reading stuff in this thread reminded me of it. Isn't great how much influence BG is wielding in the national championship picture? You couldn't have predicted this dropping Auburn to play OU actually meaning so much to both schools now. And OU has got to be HUGE BG fans now, as every win we get helps them in the computer polls. Maybe we should go back to OU and ask for a cut of their BCS money since we are helping them get to the championship game.?

Good point. I imagine Stoops is giving BG some love in his weekly vote, while the good folks at Auburn probably have us in their Bottom 10!

Whatever

A nervous people is one who will believe almost anything.
Lets go to a playoff system already.
Take the top 8 from the BCS rankings and match 'em up.
Playoffs wouldn't last any longer than the bowl season does now

And we'd get screwed every year.

Sixteen teams with automatic conference bids.

Its too bad we don't have the archive, because I feel another interminable NCAA tourney debate. We could save a lot of keystrokes and call it up from last year.

This confirms that Auburn will win the national championship...

Last year we were supposed to play LSU, but we dropped them...
