New Hemets

I like the new uniforms but I am not wild about the new helmets. The BG seems a little too big for my taste. It makes the helmet look "horsey." I miss the Falcon logo with the white in it.

Anyone else have reactions now that we have seen them on TV?

I don't remember seeing a thread on this.

I really like the new road uniforms. A nice mix of orange and brown. Orange numerals, brown down the sides and both colors in the shoulder stripes. The typeface of the numbers is interesting without being weird.

They did a great job. I think these new uniforms could last us a long, long time.

I am a huge fan of the "old" logo, but the photos I have seen of the new helmets impress me. The logo does what it says on the can. BG. I am converted.

I loved the new heLmets!

The new jerseys looked very cool as well, but not as cool as TS in the pocket!

There is just one thing that I think could've made the helmets better...instead of the flat orange, I think they should've done something with the paint to make the interlocking BG pop off the helmet...something like having an orange version of the NY Football Giants blue...anyone know what I mean??? Here's a pretty good picture...

I love the new helmets and I like the new uniforms. I'd like to see orange pants on the road too, but all in all I like the new look.

I really like the new unis. The interlocking BG looks great. As we all heard at one time or another from people not familiar with us, they'd ask what was on our old helmets. Granted, I liked the old Falcon, but I got tired of always explaining what it was to people. The "BG" says it all.

My only complaint with the new unis is that I would like to see the "Falcons" on the chest be much bigger. Actually, I would rather see it say "Bowling Green" since these are generally road unis. Other than that I think they are sharp.

One more point, I'm not a fan of the thick stripe from the armpit down the side of the shirt on any jersey. But I am at least thankful that we matched the stripe with the stripe on the pants.

I like the new unis too. My one complaint is that I wish that whoever puts the BG sticker on the helmet would actually make sure it is on staight. Was it me or where there a number of helmets that had the BG a little off center?

I meant to add, that I thought the helmets looked good. I know I posted earlier in the week that I thought the "BG" may be up too high on the helmet. I was wrong. I really like how it looks.

Some of the players have been hit too many times...it's not the sticker that's crooked...it's the players heads...just kidding, but I didn't notice any crooked stickers.
