No, the Sheik was a vile pig, but the gig paid well enough for Ed "The Sheik" Farhat to build an indoor pool adjacent to his house (or so I'm told by people who lived near him in western Michigan).

Actually the Sheik's compound was around Lansing. I think Williamston which is just east of East Lansing. Of course archrival Bobo Brazil was from Benton Harbor, MI on the west side.

Dan D might be a little shall we say hard, but he does look out for his kids like no other. Remember last year when he called out the refs. after the ipfw game got a fine and was put on probation to defend his kids!!! i don't know about you but that's a coach i would want my kids to play for!!! and i'll be first in line to go meet the team tonight at 8!!!!!!!

- Killer Brooks (with the elbox pad)
- The Bulldog Don Kent
- Tony Marino (my favorite as a little kid)

Tim "Killer" Brooks lived in the apartment next door to my sister-in-law to be in Toledo in the 70's. She said he was a nice guy with a nice wife that they could go out to dinner with etc.
