New Home Uniforms
Does anyone have an idea what the new home uniforms will look like?

SBX is suppose to be getting blanks of the Brown Jersey, so you can customize any number you want. It takes them a few days to get the numbers put on because they send them out. So be aware of that.
The white ones will only come with certain numbers, I know Corey's #1 will be there, but don't know what the other numbers are.

My question is if the home jerseys are exactly the same or if they have a different font on them. My brown jersey, which is accurate as far as I know, has a very different font from the "Falcons" that I saw in the pictures of the white jerseys.

To the best of my knowledge, I think we are the only school that has two different jersey types for home and away. I could be wrong on that.

Michigan traditionally has two different jersey sets. The road whites tend to have piping and arm stripes while the home blues do not have piping or jersey stripes.BGDrew wrote:To the best of my knowledge, I think we are the only school that has two different jersey types for home and away. This year's set:

Yes the Michigan Jerseys are technically different, but they are split images of each other with the same major details... ie font, reversed colors, etc. Personally I hated the Brown jerseys of 05. For 2 major reasons, they didn't include any orange whatsoever... and because they didn't use our font or any font on any other athletic material for that matter. They remind me of my days in High School when our school couldn't afford to buy new Home and Away Jerseys that matched, so we would get one, and then had to wait a year for the matching home or away. I really like the new uniforms, with the new font, and new logos. I really hope that we get a brown version of this new uniform that we saw last saturday. The key though is to include the orange and the new font. Without that, it won't match, which doesn't make a whole lot of sense to me. Maybe we can use an orange uniform as an alternate home jersey. Orange out for the UT game maybe. I hate the inconsistency that we have shown the last few years with the uniforms. I didn't mind the previous ones, but I think we finally need to make a decision. I like the new look, so I'm hoping we get 3 versions on this jersey, and stick with it!!!

I wonder, though, if they will tweak those things so they better resemble the new road jerseys, which look great.BGGrad01 wrote:As far as I know, we will be wearing the same brown jerseys as last year and the '05 UT game.
Maybe white numerials, shoulder stripes in white and orange, and an orange or white stripe down the side.
I like the home jerseys now, but those changs could help.
I guess we'll find out in a couple of weeks.
I'm just glad they'll be wearing brown. That much has been said.
Here is a very quick and crappy version of what I see in my head. Blast away.
