The Depth chart that wasnt?

Post by Globetrotter »

There were some curious things that the depth chart seemed to indicate would happen but didn't. Willie Geter was basically absent all night after jumping to first on the depth chart. Ransom was everything I want that back to be. And everything he isn't, Bullock is. Davis was in on a ton of plays at DT and started when i thought he was listed as 3rd on the 3 deep.

We started in a 3-4 with Magnone starting at LB? Or was it really just a 4-3 with Angelo at DE.

Yeah I've been wondering why Geter was hardly used. I wonder if Brandon is keeping some covers on a big time running game and plans to unleash it later in the season to complement the passing game. And if that's the case, is Geter the one expected to carry the load or would Ransom and Bullock be fine?

MarkL,

I was thinking the same thing. Obviously we have a terrific stable of backs and I was very impressed with Ransom's receiving skills. Maybe Coach B doesn't want the rest of the MAC to see our newest weapon very much.

I was stoked to see Nick Davis out there rockin! So good to see him back.

Well, Ransom hadn't been healthy. Its possible he did not want to reveal that he was ready to play, and therefore made Geter #1
