I get the feeling Minnesota showed in the second half what Michigan State needs to do all day: Run, run, run and then run some more.

It would help if Michigan State suffers some holding penalties -- forcing them into second- and third-and-longs -- and it would help even more if they would put the ball on the carpet a couple of times.

If that happens -- and if Sheehan keeps threading the needle -- then we have a shot I think.

I wish I was more optimistic. On the other hand, I really thought Minnesota was going to win last weekend.

So call me a pessimist. But I'll be there in person to watch, and I really can't wait.

I think the key is much like last week - get up early.
If we can build a decent lead, and put Sparty in the position where its offense is forced to pass to catch-up.. I think we have a shot.
If they grind it out on the ground, it could be a long day.
But like I said earlier in the week - I think we can pull it out in a close one.

If BG can not get out in front early, Michigan St. wins maybe not big but wins. I think having to play against back to back Big 10 offensive lines will wear down the d line by the early 3rd quarter.

MSU - 35
BG - 21

However, let me say this....

If we WIN THIS GAME, I'm gonna start planning the road trip to Boston College!!!
right here is one of the key problems with our fan base and why we don't sell tickets to home games unless we're undefeated or have one loss..
we wait for the team to win to plan road trips????????

I have spent all week on this, and I signed in to see trickster beat me to it. It comes down to the special teams, and this week the special teams get it done.
