BGSU Auction

Post by Tricky_Falcon »

Looks like the bidding for the helmet is at $200 with little over a week to go.

I dont know what the final total will be but it would have been better if they used the Revolution helmet.

Were you looking forward to strapping it on if you won?

I think they would be able to put more than one item on at a time.

Yeah, it is a little confusing. Some may not care or think it’s a big deal, but the helmet type that is pictured on the link on the website talking about the auction ( http://bgsufalcons.cstv.com/genrel/083107aac.html ) is not the same type of helmet pictured on the auction page ( http://bgsufalcons.cstvauctions.com/gallery.cfm ). Both images of the helmet have the new logos on it, but they aren’t the same type of helmet. I wonder which helmet is the one to actually bid on?
GO BG!!!

I would rather have the "revolution" helmet if I had money to bid on this item.

I would as well, especially since the price is already over $200 with a week to go.

lol, no but the revolution is more visually appealing. If I was to plunk down more than likely 300-500 dollars on a helmet I would want it looking good sitting on my desk.

That's what I was thinking. I thought we'd see a wide variety of items all at once. I'll be interested to see how many items actually get auctioned off.
Hey, look at me! I'm all over the InterWebs!

Does anybody know where the auction price finished last night? I last checked around 3:00 and it was at $400.

Not sure if this has been noted here yet (first time I've checked azz in 2 weeks), but the ST had an article on the auctions yesterday. They leaked the next auction item.

Seeliger also mentioned items like the giant Falcon logos on the elevators at Perry Stadium and the new Falcon hockey uniforms as possibilities for future auctions. Auction items would be seasonal, meaning most items up for bid will be associated with a particular sport that is in season.
