Club Hockey Tryouts

Post by jpfalcon09 »

Hey guys, my brother will be coaching the club team again this year, and I'll be his assistant. We had our meeting last night to finalize some stuff, including tryouts.

Three days of tryouts will occur September 4-6 at the Ice Arena, Tuesday at 10pm, Wednesday at 10:15pm and Thursday at 11pm. If you know of any people interested in playing club hockey, please have them come out. We're looking forward to an exciting season this year, and we hope to see some support from fellow AZZ'ers.

Good luck this year, Ive caught a few games over the years. I specifically remember a home game against Grand Valley St. a few years ago that had more intensity than any varsity game ive seen in awhile. How many guys with juniors experience are you expecting this year?

A pretty good chunk of experience is back this year, we're excited with the talent that we have and we're looking forward to boosting our game to the next level. Many of guys want to win, so we feel with the motivation there and the core of players coming back, things could be very good this season.
