giving the last minute away...? hail mary, onside kick? something? anything? 7 more points? I'm confused. didn't we have 3 timeouts as well?

We were beat. The O-line couldnt hold anyone. We lucked out at the end to not give up more points. If Sheehan wouldn't have gotten sacked & fumbled at our own 1, I think you would have seen us push for the miracle. But down 11, off of 2 consecutive sack/fumbles, 2nd and forever, 99yds away from a score, and 90 seconds left I think it was a good call to play it safe!

Yeah, I wondered about that too, but I'm guessing GB though enough was enough of Sheehan getting abused there in that last few mins. The O-line play was atrocious in the 4th qtr, I don't what happened there. I've never known our O-line to suck it up like that , BCS opponent or not.

I think they were trying to protect Sheehan, and I also think they did'nt want to take a chance of giving MSU any more points.

I couldn't find the game anywhere in IN, but tried to "watch" it online. Sounds like we just couldn't hang in the 2nd half...Did we at least put up a good effort, even though loses are never good anytime?

Absolutely we put up a great effort. MSU is gonna contend for the Big Ten title...mark my words. Their D ends are QUICK and our tackles had some trouble containing them in the 4th quarter. After seeing most teams in the Big Ten so far this year, Sparty will be a playa.

BG played HARD...I am very proud of the season's start....keep it rollin...

No Way, MSU at best will finish 4th in the Big Ten.

But I know this for sure The BGSU Falcons will finish first in MAC if they get the running game going.
