Did we come away injury-free?

Yeah, he will need to apply for a medical redshirt when his actual eligibility is up. Playing only 1 1/2 games he will almost assuredly be granted that year. Of course that all depends on whether or not he actually WANTS to pursue an extra year. That will be up to him.

Zach Charles?

Post by rc_ziggy84 »

I was just skimming through the box score and I see that Zach Charles didn't have any receptions. I remember seeing him on the field early. Did he get dinged up too though?

I felt bad about losing the game today, but just thinking that Ransom my have torn an ACL, that makes me feel sick. Our coaches went after this kid because he helped fill a void on the team. This kid came to us after being a JUCO AA from down in Texas, he battled through the hamstring injury in camp, then a game and a half into the season, he might be gone. It would be such a shame. Yeah, I know, injuries are part of the game. But when it happens to a Falcon, my heart goes out to them. I guess all we can do is wait for an official word and cross our fingers it’s not something torn.

That may explain even further why we didn't try to run the ball (at least after that play), being down to only 2 backs that we plan to use the rest of the year.

I'm pretty sure he played the whole game, at least returning punts. I don't remember seeing him much on offense, but I'm sure he was out there with the 5-wide sets.

I hope someone tells Corey we don't have a game next week!

But yeah, I agree with ya. We need #1 back on the field. Add him with what we saw from Freddie and Derek Brighton, along with a nice TD grab by Tyrone Pronty... Mmmmm....wide receiver depth.
Did you forget a guy named Marques Parks? Seems as if he's come to play...and pretty well the past 2 games...

Oh man do I hope this isn't the case!!! This would be a very bad loss for us. This is not the kind of news I was expecting to hear.
One thing to think about....we could (and maybe should) move Dan Macon back to RB...assuming that Ransom is gone...rather be able to use an experienced RB in that three deep rotation...But Jeter definitely looked as good as advertised...just hope for no more injuries at the RB spot... could wreak havoc on our overall depth.

He has to stop making catches that need reviewed, then I'll include him.

Just kiddin'... of course MP's been big this year, I can't believe I left him out.

Marques Parks has played very well these first two weeks...Winny got poked in the eye as well and had a black eye after the game. Was MSU playing 3 Stooges out there?
